yeah i looked into getting one of them a while back.

then i saw the price and realised that for seeing as i would probably only use it once before putting it back in the box forever, i could much better spend the money elsewhere.

I was going to get one before I saw the price. They should see how it handles a wipeout at Teahupo'o or if it can ride waves like that. That would be cool.

That would be really cool if/when someday a surfer can pull off a 360 roll in a very large tube like the RC guy did on a 2-3 ft tube. Has someone ever seen footage of a real surfer pulling that move off? If not do you think it could ever be done or are the law-of-physics going to make it impossible?

its possible in the laws of physics.
exept the rider might have to hold on to the board.
if you can do it in small, you can do it in big!

In last month's "australian surfing life" mag, some young bloke did a barrel roll on camera, in 6ft surf. he did have to hold onto his board, and was actually hitting the lip ahead of the barrel and landed just in front of the break at the bottom of the face. :shock:
