coloured surf wax

coloured surf wax

i have looked everywhere guys for coloured surfboard wax. i was wondering wether it is possible to melt your wax and then mix it with coloured dye to make it a different colour other than white? is it possible?! or do i need sum equipment to do it? cheers guys get bck too me when you can.

yes i saw some recently. unfortunately i'm TOTALLY USELESS and can't remember where I saw it :oops:

I did wonder at the time why anyone would want it... but maybe if you had a plain white board you could do something slightly artistic... who knows :?:

umm, isnt sex wax already coloured? get some of that. not that it shows up much once its on the board but its usefull to tell your summer/spring/winter wax apart when theyre all in the box and the labels have rotted off from the salt water.

thanks for replies dudes, i really dunt no whether it would stain my board. and i dunt rele no why i would want coloured wax rele i just ifnk it wud luk rele cool on ma board and its sumfing different! if u du find any nice coloured surf wax and u no a website/shop tht sells it let me no ;) cheers ppl

It shouldn't stain your board, if you can get all the wax off. I find it hard to believe that wax can penetrate fiberglass.

And just a bit of advice, real English is highly appreciated around here.
