stupid wetsuit

for some reason when i wear my dads old steamer (when mines wet or i cant find it for some reason like this morning) and i pop up, my knees or knee sometimes get caught on the wax. I usually graze my knees slightly as i do my pop-up motion (its a fluent motion without any one knee crap), and usually i pop up 100%, but for some reason i got stuck a couple times this morning. anyone have similar problems?
