Good surfing films?

Postby derbyshire surfer » Sun Jan 28, 2007 9:45 pm

Hi,

Just thought I'd ask some opinions...

As corny as it is I got into sufing partly/largely due to watching Blue Juice! I know..probably not a 'classic' surf film, (did have Catherine Zeta Jones in it though!) :D I was/still am landlocked and it all just looked like a cool/fun lifestyle. Some time later I still like that film for nostalgia but my favourite would be Endless Summer.

Got a day off tomorrow and my cars getting serviced so no surfing, (120 miles to nearest break)...Are there any standout movies I should hire?

Happy Surfing!

Cheers north swell, will do a search. Have you seen 'highland open'? Think it was on the cover of surf europe last month.
Got a mate in Scarborough (Cayton)who's been up in Thurso, then Norway for about the last year or so. Hoping he's got some good footageof the area.

Don't laugh, but I've watched Point Break about 20 times. Dialogue is humerous but I think its a very entertaining movie.
