Kernow move

I`m due to do some work in Kernow in august to september this year. Will be staying in a hotel payed by the company i will be doing the work for. Going home at weekends. Staying somewhere central in Kernow.
Just can`t wait

My Q to the boys and girls of Kernow is. We are looking to move there in about 12mths, what areas should we avoid and why. We will have around £180k to play with.
Would love something close to the coast but not in a large estate. thanks John.

stear clear of NQ, Padstow, Perrenporth, St. Ives, Penzance... Helston.... Pretty much any coastal town or larger inland town. :p

Was thinking of Helston area, looking for a quiet area away from the crowds. Not sure if my money would stretch to single properties in the country.

Just want to get away from the ever increasing influx of tourists, feel like i`m living abroad sometimes.

Would love my kids to grow up around the coast, as i did.

Thre are tons of random villages with some 'new' builds in.

Other options are some isolated gems in the vallys of the south coast. Often see small ex miner cottages/terrace places going. Small but very cosy by the looks of them
