nah, it was just wishful thinking to get me thru the day. I figured it would have been mentioned already if there was going to be anything about, I have had a little look and can only gather that there might be some swell about 5 hrs drive away but im not driving 5 hrs to find out im wrong again.

Just have to use the weekend to get all the chores out of the way - like visiting friends and family who i keep letting down to go surfing

It normally is unless you get some localised wind waves. Theres some huge feckin offshore sand bars that stop some of the northerley swells making it all the way down, and Lowies aint a N facing break.

Having travelled to the surf for the last five weekends in a row, I'm actually quite glad to have a weekend when Ive got an excuse to not go anywhere!

As long as there's some swell around the week after!

the stupid wind has disappeared as well! WHERE ARE THE LOWS GONE?

*rhetorical question* no need for you pressure chart gurus to start lecturing me on where the lows actually are... I will get more depressed!
