but oh well :)
Sorry to hear you split up but glad you found someone... you make it sound easy.

I can never get passed the friend stage... i worked out that i never like anyone that i've never been friends with but then when i'm friends with them i can't pluck up the guts to tell them because i no i risk losing the friendship. :( love sux
actually while i'm here... any tips on how to deal with that?!

xx

Hey....I like to think of myself as a nice guy. Actually, i was told by a good friend of mine(girl) the other day that she thinks I am one of the most real and honest to god good people she has met in a while. That and by the comments by jen and libby, I am assuming I am sort of good looking.

Though I know what you mean by the friend thing. Being a nice guy can be a real kick in the nuts some days. You are really nice to a girl, then you become friends, and then it gets stuck there. Dont get me wrong, I have to really good friends, that are awesome, that I used to have feelings for....but ya. Thats also the thing with friends though, is that you hang out with them, and you get to know the real them. You obviously are hanging out with them for a reason, so they tend to be good, fun people. But alas, they are friends, and tent to stay that way.

girls get stuck in the friend trap too you know, used to happen to me all the time

Lisa1 - only thing i can suggest if you do fancy a good mate is dont leave it and then blurt out that you love them or something - that'll freak them right out (it did me anyway). Just give a few hints, if you get nothing back leave it, although sometimes guys dont pick up on anything more subtle than a brick in the face :D
NB - im not suggesting you whack them in the face with a brick and tell them your intentions - it was just a metaphor :D

Nice one Sal!!
ooh he must be true gent. You'll know its real special if you become ill after having to much to drink and he hangs about to hold your hair back for you

Know what you mean Thaya, I was just plodding along, then had a load of dates with woman , now back to just chilling and plodding along.

Weird how it happens, hope this one works out for you.
