:D

I'm gonna have a chat with him face to face on friday. I'm not sure whether to dump him though... that seems a bit harsh (and it's nice not being single for once!). I knew it was all too good to be true  :D

oh well, we'll see how things go...

Definitely have a chat before you make up your mind!

I've finally come to the conclusion that Nice Guys (eg the ones we never seem to want  ) are totally underrated! Bring on the Nice Guys! :D

I'd have to agree that women tend to go for the bad boys, at least until they grow up a bit. (no offence meant)

Thaya, It's none of my business but if he's getting clingy and stroppy after a week what do you think the future holds? Is he intelligent.

I spent 4 and a half years with my ex fiance who was thick as a post simply because she was stunning, and amazing in bed. Couldn't have a decent conversation with her though and I've resolved to stay single until I find someone I can genuinely *connect* with! (NO JOKES) if that makes any sense.

If you can train him to be a bit more understanding, then good luck to you, sounds like you're smitten with his looks and that's a good start. I really hope for you're on the same frequency so to speak. True happiness is rare it'd be really good to see you find it.

none taken!

the reason i like him (aside from his looks :D ) is because he's intelligent and we can have great philosophical conversations... we're on the same wavelength and we have LOADS in common too.

I never usually go out with 'nice looking' blokes (in a conventional way!). I'm just a bit concerned about his clingy behaviour. maybe this is why he was still single when I met him???? I don't know. I'm gonna give him a chance though...

Hey Thaya even though you had a horrid surf session, did the 'Chat' go alright with your diet coke man?

Hope your shoulder isn't too wrecked!

just to add to things... we've split up (or rather I dumped him - for a few reasons really). on the positive side I've already managed to meet another nice bloke and went on a date with him! Seeing him again this weekend.

Yay Thaya! :D

I had a 'sort-of' date yesterday, arranged to go for a walk with a cute and very nice guy who works in the deli over the road, we ended up spending the whole day together and he came over to watch a film last night, and we sat up talking til midnight! He's REALLY nice and I'm still grinning like an idiot, my boss's wife even asked me if I was ok this morning!!!

errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... well, no it's not... it's probably just a lucky phase I'm going through. no men for a few months and then several at once.. a bit random (and no I don't mean exactly at the same time!) I don't feel too upset about the 'diet coke' man so that probably means he wasn't right for me.

I think this relationship with James might have some sort of future. I know it's very early days and I thought exactly the same with Sam back in May... but this guy is really different. He's totally genuine and honest and I really respect him (not that I didn't with the others - oh it's hard to explain). I'm looking forward to seeing him on Friday - he's cooking me a meal and getting a nice bottle of wine! I've got him well-trained already!!!

Oooh Thea, sounds good!

Stuart's been in to see me at work this afternoon, we're going out for a drink tonight!

I mustn't get pissed, I mustn't get pissed, I mustn't get pissed, I mustn't get pissed, I mustn't get pissed, I mustn't get pissed, I mustn't get pissed
