I used to do that all the time, it was part of my job, and the terrain was nof very straight or even, sometimes as much as a 45 degree incline. The people I was guiding were always amazed, not many, if any of my co workers could do it, but I enjoyed talking and walking and I found that it was easier to do when facing the group.

My school bus used to go past the local, how do you put this politically correctly, oh yeah the loony bin, we had everyone on that baby, batman, middle of summer parka hood over his head, chit chattindg away to robin. Esmerelda as we used to call her, slap a child at the drop of a hat, oh and john, really trhought he was the babtist guy. Twas allways an entertaining ride, god and i went to a posh school what did tother folks see on there school ride.

Oh BTW that was a long time ago and i'm sure that the state of the UK NHS doesn't allow people to walk backwards through town, whats the little green man going to do, new regulations please.

I also saw a feature story one time about a guy named Fred who was training to run a race backwards -- for his supporters, he had pins and shirts made up that said "OG, DERF OG"
