i don't have a problem with kayaking, just with the barstewards (i mean men!) who do it! :D

i have no problem with kayaks (if they stay in the river) but i have had a few collisions with them wen im paddling for a wave and i look straight infront of me and WHAM a goatboat..didnt even attempt to move

There used to be loads on the ECoast Yorks a couple of years ago and used to really do my head in, but they don't seem to be around as often. Most of them were fat middle aged blokes so perhaps they've found something else to do.

I've messed around in one before, a 14 foot boat! It was fun, but I know that I will never, ever take it near anyone who is surfing. And thank god I've never seen anyone try to take one near me surfing.

You can catch waves that don't exist, kinda cool. Just not a "cool" thing around here (thankfully)
