Late Season Indo Board?

Postby reefteeth » Tue Jan 09, 2007 4:25 pm

Heading to Bali, G-Land & Lombok in Oct-Nov for the first time. Looking for a good big guy (6'3 200 lbs) round-pin board that'll paddle into the 6-10 ft (face) waves easily, but not be too much board that it doesnt get used on the average days. The shorties I have now work on small-medium days but are hard to paddle into overhead+ island-style waves.

Looking to push the limits w the right equipment. Any dimension or model recs? Would I be cutting myself short at 7'0" X20 3/4" X 3?

Seems wide and thick for such big waves. What are the dimensions of the shortboards you ride now?

right now I ride a 6'6 X 20 X 2.75. works well in everyday waves but not when the waves get serious.

7'0" x 18.5" x 2.25" sounds pretty good to me. Anyone else gotta view?
