I dyed my hair for ten years. Mostly blonde/bleach blonde but sometimes darker. Cos it was fairly light naturally the dark colours tended to stick around alot longer than lighter colours.

The last time I dyed my hair it went green, purple, blue and orange. It was supposed to be a sort of ash blonde (attempting to get it closer to my natural colour). Ended up spending 6 hours and £180 in the hairdressers. They dyed it 4 times (sorting out the multicoloured bits and trying to get it one colour all over). That was December 2004, and (although I keep wanting to) Ive kept well clear of the bottle and luckily am now back to my natural colour.

Didnt realise how hairdye fleshin' yer hair up either - my hair used to be dry and straw like, no matter what I did to try and soften it. Now though... tis soft and shiny and the salt water doesnt affect it as much (love baby shampoo btw... works wonders)

I use the Johnsons Baby Detangling one (orangey colour). Gets rid of knots, smells nice and leave my hair soft and not straw like
