when i was at uni the greek students told me they used to bring their with them by wrapping it up over and over to make it completely airtight, and then putting it in a shampoo bottle (with shampoo of course).
Its very risky tho, the local policemans attidude of "letting you off cos you only have a small amount for personal use" is very different to the attitude of a keen customs officer with a sniffer dog.

Postby Stone Fox » Sat Dec 30, 2006 4:05 pm

A few years back I went on holiday to Kos, and I deliberately didn't take anything with me - I'd heard you can get 10 years for even the smallest amount of possestion out there.

Anyway, I had a really nice holiday and on the last day I put on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt I hadn't worn all holiday to fly back in.

Just as the plane is about to land in Heathrow I realise I can smell skunk, and I'm thinking? Is someone mad? Or am I imagining it?

This is when sticking my hand in my pocket discovers an eighth of skunk that I didn't know I had and it'd come loose of it's clingfilm and was all over the inside of pocket!!!!

As everyone is disembarking I've frantically emptied my pocket onto the seat and sidled off, not that I expected it to help as loads of it was ground into the lining of my pocket. Cue sniffer dogs sitting in customs. I walk straight past them and they don't even LOOK at me. On the other side of customs my girlfriend says "are you alright? you've gone really pale and you're sweating buckets!"

I don't know how I got away with that, I could smell it myself! Although since then someone has told me that specific sniffer dogs are taught to sniff for specific drugs. Maybe the two dogs in customs were mr.Coke and mr.Skag? Maybe someone upstairs had an eye on me that day.

Maybe I should have checked in the pockets of my trousers before packing them!

hey stone fox... that happened to one of my best mates last summer - she went all the way to tunisia and back wearing the same pair of comfy combats for the journey each way and didn't realise she had a bit in her pocket until the taxi back from the airport!
