Weep in your beer!!

That's right.

Holiday time again and I am off down the coast for a nice two week stretch. So you won't hear a squeak form me in that time.

And the following three weeks will be pretty quiet too, since I am still on annual leave. No plans, but I have swell maps I can watch ;)

Merry Xmas and happy new year everyone!

Thanks All!

I am back.

Logged 40+ hours in the water... Got wet pretty much every day - on the rare occasion I didn't I made up for it the next day.

Had a few days with regular 3-4' and glassy. Needless to say a good chunk of those 40+ hours was clocked up in those few days.

I'll be on here irregularly over the next three weeks. Cos I am still on leave but have landscaping, christmas, etc to deal with... Oh, and a board to finish :D

Cheers!

Staying in a beach house at Middleton.

Two beach breaks across the road.

Two minutes drive to Middleton Point.

Fun stuff. Good surfing with my wife and mates. A whole lot of fun with the kids.

Sharks are overrated :D 8)

Saying that i may well end up in NZ or Oz eventually :D

Glad to hear you had a fun time doug, and nice to see some people can actually deal with having a family AND surfing

I think you have to get your priority right if you surf, the wife stays at home in the winter and carrys the beer in the summer go`s to the shop for regular top ups.
And the kids entice the chicks , are he`s a sweet lad is he yours, ( yes babe i`m an only parent, would you mind keeping an eye on them while i surf for a couple of hours

Family is key.

My 8 year old daughter can now paddle out (to chest high water - chest high for her), turn around, paddle for and catch a wave, stand up and turn. Not bad for two weeks.

Thanks for the kind words.

Piccies of the board I am working on soon... I hope.
