I've been meaning to check out A Perfect Circle as I like Tool, but I have heard they are totally different. More "rock-ish" than prog-metal, like Tool. (what the hell do they mean by prog-metal anyways!) What do you think? Are they similar? Good chance if you like Tool you are going to get into A Perfect Circle?
One of my suppliers has one of there CD's, think I will get it off of him next week.

Yeah, you'll probably dig APC too. You might like the second album better (13 Steps; more developed than the first).

Prog-metal: prog as in progressive - longer/extended musical passages.
I've also heard it described as art-metal.
