My dad got me this board today which is used for $200 with the tailpad and fins included :D . The fins were kind of scruffed up a bit but I still think it was a pretty good deal compared to my beat up 6'6". Cant wait to get used to this 5'11" and it will probably feel a bit looser lol .

Why doesnt my dad buy me surfboards? :(

Okay, so I'm a grown up, with a job, and a house, a long-term girlfriend, but still, c'mon dad - buy me a surfboard!!

I'm sure there's room in my garage for one more, just a small one!

Oh yeah, nice board, looks sweet, well done beachbum's dad!!

I think i might print out this thread and leave it around my parents house!!

I wont be getting anything but a stocking this year; already had a new winter coat (didnt have one and its freeeeeezing) as an early christmas pressie, i have no grandparents and only 2 uncles who dont really do xmas pressies now me and my bro are in our 20's.

Buuuut there will still be a christmas tree and a turkey and LOTS of chippolatas (best bit of christmas) and my famille so i am still tres tres excited!!!!!!!!!!

hey libby I know what you mean. i don't really get pressies anymore... just a few bits and pieces from my best mates, and my brothers if I see them. The sad thing is when you get older you start asking for SAD things like microwaveable rice cookers  i've seen them and they look great cuz I'm always burning rice on the bottom of the pan, so I asked my bruv if he'd get me one (they're only £7). I can't complain tho cuz my bestest mate is getting me an indoboard :D :D :D
