New surfboard and pics of the socal swell

Postby isaluteyou » Mon Dec 11, 2006 11:59 pm

Just purchased a 6'8 board for $170 it is a local shaped board and its in very very good condition. How i got it so cheap im not sure  its quite a lot skimpier than my 7'4 but i got used to it real quick. Anyway mind the pics of me i had just come out of the surf and was still dripping  Oh and i added some shots of my local beach even though the surf was miserable not at all what we expected from this swell

Nice price for that board? Didn't seem like it was used much and I recently got a new board for myself as an earlier Christmas present :D.

true, but as it's been weeks since i hit the water, and will likely be weeks until i do, it'd only be wasted anyway!

Thanks all took it out again today. Still getting used to riding a lighter board im just not used to a board being so responsive, But im getting a feel for it, Popping up is a tad trickier but once im up i feel really comfy on the board.

Yes the paddle outs are killer at the moment and theres not much of an outback its all over the show  But if you get into the right position there are some killer waves to be had. Really glad i can duckdive with my board

The quality thing about dreads is that you never have to brush your hair :D Although i had jet black dreads about 2 years ago just shows what the sun can do
