Looks like some solid surf coming down your way! I checked out the pressure charts and a whole bunch of low pressures have formed up and some solid groundswell should be on the way!

So, get your camera's out!

We should have 12 to 15 foot faces this weekend. I can't wait. I am sure there will be some great pictures posted of Huntington Beach up on this site.

ya
Storm #1 generated up to 50-55 kts winds and seas peaking at 43 ft Mon-Wed (12/6). That swell is ready to hit. A series of 3 more storms are forecast to push back-to-back from the dateline east into the southeastern Gulf of Alaska generating more seas in the 32-35 ft range with the last of the series to be another strong one with up to 54 ft seas. Solid 15 ft surf expected non-stop through late next week with improving conditions.
54 ft seas!!
holly!! i sens the mavs are coming with that.
i hope its on a weekend when im home, i really want to go see

Hey speedracer, don't badmouth the navy, especially if you are a sailor. Without surfers, how would us westerners ever know about surfing in the first place? I'm on shore duty now, tons of time to surf

Also, those 12 foot seas got interrupted by a pretty high wind. Saturday was good, but since then it has been murder out there, all blown out. Scripps is allright, but the whole OB, MB, PB line up is trash

You gotta go get some pics this week of the waves and post them! Friend emailed me from Santa Cruz and said the sets were unbelieveable! But he doesn't have a digital camera!! He said they looked huge off the point at Steamers, like 20' plus. Don't know if he's full of shite but sounds awesome. They are predicting 35'+ in Mavericks. Let us know if you get out to see them.
