Aye Mon eve and Tuesday is going to set everythign off. Monday here will be a bit awarkward as the wind is blowning so strong it has a habit of blowing the wraps away from the N shore. But Tuesday will be pumpin' all day.

The fish is an absolute beast in the bigger stuff, caught 1 on sunday around 8ft face and was so fast = had another 1 which caught me in a ball of white water gave her a few pumps and came screaming out in a balze of fishy glory     starting to get to grips with a lot hollower waves.

1 question though kitey if you was to of put a greater distance between the fins would this of made the board faster and if so what sort of work is involved in doing this?

With current fin position the amount of extra distance you could gain isn't very much as the fins are already close to the rails. So i doubt you'd notice any difference and also it is alot of work to move the fins.
How are you finding turning in the steeper sections as this is where i would expect a twin set-up to struggle more than a thruster?

Yeah had a few problems when putting in bottom turns on some of the bigger waves was face planting into the face which was gutting as they were opening up before me and I was just diving through.

Just went down on an hour drive to east wittering, surfed polluted 2-3ft crap with no boots or gloves with a strong onshore wind in 10degree water. Shows what you'll do when your desperate :)

Went in tday (saturday) was hugely crossshore and pretty sizeable, it was ok but the wind made it difficult. Will post pictures when i find my camera lead, tommorows looking reall mental but think i might know somewhere which should be sheltered from the worst of the wind 8),

yep , we got a hell of a swell down here. The gennith cam has been 'Huge' and 'Maxed Out' as its wave height. I went down caswell yesterday for a surf and it was quite sizeable out the back but the sea was all messy and choppy from the onshore winds, so it wasn't that good.

"Its death on a stick out there mate!"

The langland cam was looking good yesterday , even at high tide. I thought Langland would be packed and Caswell could be quieter. But Caswell was quite busy.

yeah langland is usually crap at high tide but it was ok today, the peaks werent as well defined as they are at low tide so although there was a decent crowd they where spread across the bay instead of all fightin for position in one spot. I went to caswell for high tide yesterday cos it usually fairly good, but what with it being much windier today i decided to check out langland to see if there was any shelter not expecting it to be any good and it was definatly better than the blown out mess caswell looked like.

Thats the thing with caswell, at high tide on a clean swell and no wind it can be really good (at high tide), but it only takes the slightest puff of wind to completely mess it up.

Surfed k-bay this morning only about 15 people out. 3-4ft groundswell with some sizeable sets coming through. Got some nice long rides and even got up on the nose of my board.
Topped it off with a kitesurf in the afternoon. 8)
