surfing East Wittering

Postby el_timmo » Thu Nov 30, 2006 12:05 pm

I got the afternoon off for sport yesterday, and decided to give East Wittering a try for a change from going to Bournemouth. When I got there, I was very disappointed because it just looked a hairy mess with the occasional closing out, gutless wave. I was going to go in anyway, cause I didn't drive all that way for nothing!

Anyway, I spoke to a local fellow who missed college to go surfing and he reckoned he was having fun on his fish earlier in the day, and said I would have fun too. I decided to take my HARMERGEDDON SURFBOARDS fish out that kitey made for me sinceI need to get used to it. When I got out there, I was thinking to myself "why oh why did you bother to come out?"

Anyway, to cut a very long story short, although the waves were not exactly great, the board was fleshing excellent! What a board! Takin off was easy, the board maintained its speed, and it turns great as well. It's nice and short for quick turns, but floaty enough to take off early in crap waves!

Kitey, well done.... I have to surf my trinidad fish more, but you may have made a magic board! thanks!

The board looks great! I love the design on the bottom.
Is that a golf bag in the backround? We're outragged! :-)
(just kidding...I enjoy golfing too, just don't have the $$$ these days to get out frequently enough...only 1-2x per year lately)

May I just add... that was not my house the pics were taken in. I wouldn't be caught dead on a golf course.... Table Tennis and Snakes & Ladders are more my hobbies!
