ooh i thought it was that game with the little wire loops and wooden mallets. chrochet? (sp?)

sounds like cricket. why dont you call it baseball, and rugby football, and soccer soccer, and a bloke a man, and a fag a smoke, i could go on forever. you english are as queer as a clockwork orange!

tell me, how did the difference in english in england and american english become so different?

You invented new variations of games and called them something different, American Football, should be American Rugby, then we could all carry on calling football football instead of soccer.

But i think the main reason is the huge pond that seperates us, Blimey us Northerners speak differently to the Southerners.

Well, I was brought up for a part of my life in Hawaii...so I say a smoke not a fag (because a fag is a gay person!?!). But I say it all with an australian accent!!

There's a girl over the road at the Deli outside having a fag as i speak its a good job its the English version otherwise the Police would have to be involved. Mind not sure which would be more interesting. She's a hottie tho.

Hey Dec, what you reckon, Warne cleans up on this track? Me thinks. Depends on the old flip of the coin tho, and if we have the balls to go with Monty.

Im feeling fairly confident that we may win this series yet! I watched England play NSW while in Sydney which wasnt pretty but I have a good feeling about this now - your aussie team are looking worried right now!

For those of you struggling to undestand the cricket positions this picture may help:

damn damn damn! I thought I was going to get away with this!

Seems Australia haven't done as well as the last test!
England won the toss and elected to bat first.

First out was Strauss on 14. He flicked a leg glance straight into Ricky Clarkes hands
Second down was Cook with an edge to gilchrist.
Ian Bell then put on a good performance with Collingwood, but at 60 he took a hook at a bouncer of Bret Lee and we caught out..only just...
As Bret Lee was about to catch it Justin Langer was chasing after it to, they bumped into each other and Bret Lee only just got it! PHEW!

Collingwood and Peiterson put on an awesome show with Collingwood getting 206 and Peiterson 158 (just want to say that Peiterson got run out by an awesome throw from Ricky Ponting!)

Next in bat was Geriant Jones and Flintoff. The mch acclaimed wicketkeeper for England (Jones) did awful! He got one run and then popped it up for Martyn to catch. Flintoff and Ashely Giles were in. They didn't do too great, quite slow boring batting, but it didn't matter as
England were on 500/6.

England Declared after tea on 551/6 :!: That's a pretty good Adelaide total for the first 2 days!

Australia came in and pretty much off the mark Justin Langer got out (sorry I wasn't watching at that point so I dont know exactly what happened, but I know Flintoff bowled it and Peiterson caught it..sorry!)

Ponting and Matty Hayden just played it untill the end of the day.

Australia are on 28/1 at the end of the second day.

This might be the come back that we saw last year...let's hope not!

PS. Sorry for the delay...I was watching it and faffing around with the Skimboard!
