yesterday i saw jack johnson at sunset beach on the north shore. he was surfing the same break, and there were only about 6 guys at that break. it was weird.

i didnt see him catch any waves. he left about 40 min. after i got out to the breakers. the waves came in sets, about 10 min. apart, and they were so big that when the sets came, if i caught one it would take me about 15 minutes to get back through the white water to the current and back out. i didnt talk to him either. but he seemed ok. he wasnt loud or paddling infront of people or anything like that.
