The Ashes

Postby Dec » Sat Nov 25, 2006 3:23 am

     MU HA HA HA HA

As I am half *Australian and I quite like cricket..I am supposrting australia in the Ashes.

So, if you may know..last year England won  :o , but this year its looking different.

Australia 1st innings: 602 - 9d.
Highest score: Ricky Ponting with 196
Ducks: Adam Gilchrist

England 1st innings: 157 ALL OUT
Highest score: Ian Bell with 50

Ducks: Andrew Flintoff

I wonder how this test is going to pan out?

GO AUSTRALIA!

oh and this score probably has to do with the small waves in England and larger waves in Australia

Dec, you are "half Australia" then? Either you are very big, or you meant Australian!

Which team did you support last year, when England were winning?

Good job its on in the middle of the night so i can't watch it. It doesn't help that most of the players are on their way back from injury and ain't played much cricket. Oh! and the management won't trust Monty and play the Wheelie Bin instead. :?

No excuses, i think its a one off, and should be o.k when they get this one out of the way, they do need more time in the middle tho.

PS. Using "ph" confuses the smart-asre spell checker.

Reight "Sheff Speak" now i've had a couple of "tinnies" and your munching your cornflakes, the thorpester seems a lot more optimistic. We'll dig in for the draw, the Harmo will find a rythm for the next test  and we'll retain the little burnt stuff :D :D :D
Oh yeh, Dec, you might get bigger surf, and sun and, oh poo just stop rubbing it in.

Dear Dec

Remember in the last Ashes series, you won the first test, and then a couple of tests later your players were celebrating scraping a draw!!!!! You probably will still win this one imo though.

I went to all 5 tests in Oz land four years ago and ended up in Surfers Paradise during Schoolies week

Thought we would make it till after lunch, but the inevitable happened. At least the batters showed a little more steel in the second innings. Looking forward to Friday with more optimism.
