Magazine subscriptions

Postby drowningbitbybit » Sat Nov 25, 2006 7:57 am

Im not one to religously buy magazines each and every month, but land-locked in london, surf magazines can be a bit tricky to get hold of

So a year ago, I took out on a subscription on Surf Europe. The subscription was quite a saving on buying each issue and there was a free leash with it, so it seemed like a good idea.

And ever since they keep sending me free stuff! :D

As well as the leash, I randomly got a parcel a few months back with a fleece, hat and flipflops. The hat and fleece were promptly nicked by Mrs DBBB, but the flipflops have been all over this autumn.

Then this morning, ANOTHER parcel (I recently re-newed the subscription) with another fleece, but bigger (maybe they knew the last one was a bit small and was nicked by the other half) and a Dakine tail pad :D

Seeing as the subscription was only 19 pounds, and everything they've sent has been real useful, Im making a profit :D 8)

Every couple of months the local mall stocks on Surfing Magazine. It costs like 10 quid per magazine..

But if I could subscribe I would.

You should start selling them and subscribe to another one. Etc etc..you have a buisness

wow im going to subscribe to that. I noticed before that the subscribtions to Surf Europe were cheap and they offered free stuff like a leash or tail pad, but I never bothered because the magazine can be too slim. But I think i'll sign up for 6 months and see what I get - its like a lucky dip :D
