step into el_timmo's surf shack.... ifyou got £300, I got a board! A shortboard, just like everyone likes to start with, hardly used with leash, deck grip, pre-waxed and a bit of attitude.

ok only joking, I ain't selling any of my boards, and even if I were, I wouldn't rip you off like that!

yeah, you're best off going to the surf shop and askin them which is the best board for you

and PLEASE be honest... don't tell them you're better than you are, cause they'll give you a board you won't be able to handle.

get a salomon noseless, you can get the largest one ( there are three sizes: 4'7, 5' and 5'3) for £220 which includes board (obviously!) leash and grip deck. Its meant to be pretty good for learning tricks etc and it looks pretty funky!

Never seen anyone on a Salomon, looks like they might be hard work for a less experienced surfer, or a fatty like me. 300 quid is more than enough for a decent shortboard, ditto everyone else pop into your local surf shop and get them to recomend you one suitable for your ability.

unodoshol where in Sheffield are you, i run the surf shop on Hickmott Rd, just off Ecclesall Rd, S11 8QF
