I might still try and go though and try and blag my way in..................but I've got Slayer on the 20th at Brixton, so lack of funds might force me to work the rest of the week

Bwgan, I agree, Metallica is a good band, although I only like Kill em All, Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets.

However, I always advise people if they like Metallica to give Megadeth a listen. Metallica are good, but in my opinion, Megadeth are better. Don't want to bring Metallica down, but especially when Marty Friedman joined Megadeth, the guitars in Megadeth just sound so much better. Marty Friedman is a genius!

Oh and Testament and Overkill are other Thrash bands to give a listen to.

I enjoy some Metallica, actually like S&M quite a lot. But I must say I have been delving quite deeply into Tool lately and I must say I am enjoying their albums alot. Might be considered prog metal but i like it alot.
