No, I won't come all the way to Hawaii just to look for Tim ... no way! Some friends of mine went to the King of the Air Contest in Hawaii and they really liked it, but ... big waves !! That's what they told me at least .. I'd like to come over with another girl, for kitesurfing, but I'm not very keen on those huge waves, that's why I asked you if there is any spot ideal for kitesurfing, where the surf dudes don't look angry at us 'cause we are in their way ...

On Maui, best spot is near Ho'okipa or Airport beach, and in these spots, there are "designated" areas for kitesurfers, wind surfers, & board surfers. There are a lot of places that offer lessons, find one and ask them where they recommend you go at your skill level and at the time of year you plan to go.
