I got pulled up on stage at a Jason Donovan concert. I was 8 years old and wet myself with excitement.

When (dont laugh) Darren Hayes came over to Jersey to sing at Simply The Best (shite tv show that was on a couple of years ago), my local radio station called me to see if I could get hold of someone who could get them an interview with him. I did, they got the interview, and they cocked the recording up and ended up with nowt (I got a load of signed goodies though).

I got invited to the preview party for his last album, flew to London, went to the recording studio for the party, and was sat in the front row. They played the album, and I sat there for half of it killing myself laughing cos I could hear fart noises in one of the songs (other people picked up on it too so it wasnt my imagination). He'd been stood behind a screen the whole time and I got grilled about why I'd been laughing - mortified doesnt describe it.

When I went to see (dont laugh) Darren Hayes in Bristol this year, he did a kind of Blind Dating piss take in the show. People were supposed to text in their seat numbers and a reason why they should go up on stage. 16 of my so called mates texted MY seat number in, knowing full well I was rat-arsed, and he announced to everyone what seat I was sitting in, that I was as pissed as a fart and that I was up for anything.

I got spat on by the asian looking one out of Sugababes for laughing at their 'performance' at Simply The Best.

My old boss's brother in law is Bono's brother in law (his sisters hubbie is Bono's wifes brother).

Finally... Phil Collins used to live around the corner from my auntie. His garden was so big that it backed onto hers, and when I stayed with her during the summer holidays he was always out in his garden arsing about with one of them swingball things.

My American uncle was an entertainer/magician on a cruise ship which had the Brazilian football team on it after they won the World Cup - he'd never seen a game of football, but read about them in the paper, went out and bought a football and got it signed by Pele - when he found out I loved footy he gave it to me, saying, "I don't know how famous this guy really is..." !!!

My great uncle, Brian Holmes won the Polar Medal (in the 50's i think) for being the first to survey a small antarctic island, now called Homes Island. he was supposed to go to London to pick up the award but couldnt be arsed and made them fly the entire ceremony to Nigeria where he was at the time!

Ok this is reeeeeally embarrassing so please dont judge me by it, it was in my first year of uni and i had drunk a bottle of vodka..... S

Snow Patrol played at the UEA and there was an afterparty, which i got tickets to because one of my best friends works at the university radio station. I couldnt get tickets to the gig so i just got reeeeally drunk instead. Apparently during the aftershow party i ran up to two members of snow patrol (i dont know which one) and totally randomly said in drunken slurred slutty voice that i probably thought was seductive *cringe*

"I only sleep with people in bands"

at which point the vodka really kicked in and i fell over in front of them, fell asleep on the floor and got carried out by security

My ancestor was a monkey. For real! :D

I also have the dubious honour of being the only person ever born in the ABC unit at St.Pete's hospital.

For those of you who don't know, that's a major nuthouse for the thames valley. (mental health ward)
