I am moving out to live in Perth in January - first couple of weeks in Mandurah then hopefully in the Rockingham area.

Are there any locals who would be interested in meeting up to show me the local breaks, keep me out of the rips and prevent me from becoming shark bait ( http://www.news.com.au/story/0,23599,20 ... 45,00.html ).

Also what to wear in the water - boardies and a rashie or a wet suit (and how thick)?
