Wetsuit & SURF sHOP?

Postby silverhead » Mon Oct 30, 2006 2:33 pm

I'm from the UK and i dont have a surf shop near me as the one which was open has now closed. I want to buy a winter wetsuit and wanted to know which internet surf shops offer a good range and price for their wetties.

If there are any to avoid please tell me why. if there are any that you recommend please also state why.

does anybody know if the Psycho 2 is any good. I think i'm going to buy from freakfish as i have had quick respnses from a guy called adam and he gave good advice but he said i need to make up my own mind.

http://www.freakfish.co.uk/oneill-wetsu ... p-832.html

He said that the Oneill Psycho 2 is a good suit but exspensive as they have gone up in price. He said that the F -bomb are really warm and cheaper in price. They said also that if i wanted flexibility and price margin i should go for the E - bomb 5/3mm

All the wetsuits come with Free gift vouchers upto 30 quid off. Does this sound like a good deal and advice? I have look everywhere else and nobody is doing deals like this.

Check this out...

http://www.surfline.com/video/06_wetsuit_preview/

It is a winter suit review by surfline. It does seem to focus on what SoCal would need (not too many suits w/ hoods mentioned), but it does provide some useful info.

Personally I think XCell and O'Neill are at the top with Bodyglove and Hurley next in line. I wasn't as impressed with RipCurl, Quicksilver or Billabong; however, I've only had an O'Neill and XCell suit.
