It's a hilarious colour, isn't it? My favorite colour is actually blue. But when I saw this colour combination I just could not resit the humor. This will keep me smiling. :P

The only problem with such a recognisable board is that when you're tombstoning, everyone will know it's you when you eventually make it out of the water

Didn't think of that actually. But now you mentioned it, I'd definately want everyone to notice me when I'm in trouble. The more people see my board means the quicker I will get help. Turn out it's not only humorous, but it's also safety colour.

I'll mention this to my husband. He's always worry about me surfing alone.
Thanks for pointing that out. Now I feel safer to go surfing on my own :D

When it comes to safety; I truly have no shame. heh heh

hahaha i hope you're good, cause there nothing funnier than seeing a kook riding a pink board and making a fool of him/herself!

but its also funny as hell and quite satisfying goin out with a pink board, seeing all the stares from the locals "wtf with the pink board, he must suck" and then totally rule. like this guy>>>

Nah...I wouldn't call myself good, but I enjoy it nonetheless. I'd like to become good at it eventually of course. :P

The bottom line is I get to have fun and I get to entertain people. It's all good to me. heh heh

Hey I have a pink board in England and i'm crap :D ! I think if you are going to fork out alot of money for a board then you may as well get something you love. My board in NZ is very plain and i do miss having a bit of colour. I surf for me, not for any one else, if they assume i'm good cos i've got a pink board thats there problem not mine 8)

I like that approach and attitude! :D

You should be surfing for yourself and not for anyone else. It's the wrong reason when you do it for someone else. Some colour is definitely good in surfing, especially with a pinch of humor. :)

Right now I am pretty much just riding my 8'4" carbon reinforced, epoxy funshape SouthPoint. The waves on the lakes are just now building up, I wouldn't mind getting my hands on a 6'6 fish before October though, but I am kind of broke, so I might have to settle for the 7'6" Dan Taylor.

I would love to get my hands on a nice thick single fin thunderbolt, but again, I am broke, so probably not going to happen.

Looks like you have a perfect all around set up there. A board for any condition, from the mushy ankle biters, to over head.
