Dinging?

Postby southwestsurfer » Fri Oct 27, 2006 1:08 pm

Yesterday I was practicing popping up on my 7'3'' Bic ( the board lying across a double bed with plenty of support). However, everytime I put pressure down on my knees to stand up, the board kind of made a 'denting' sound as if the outer layer was being pushed/forced in. I've checked for dents but theres none clearly visible. Should I still practice popping p like this, or will it mess the board up? Afterall, it is a solid Bic?

Dont practise popping up on your board. The floor will do, or use a cardboard cut out.

Best way to practise popping up on the board is to put some water underneath it

Um.. yeah. Nothing but water will give it proper support and flex. You'll damage something.
