Surfing Movies in San Diego Theatres?

Coming to San Diego Oct. 13th and coming home on the 16th. Anybody know of a movie theatre there showing a Surf movie? Would love to see one there on a big screen as my sister and her husband have never surfed and are coming with me, and we are all very excited to kind of immerse ourselves in this new world (we are landlocked). I looke online and it seems we just missed one showing from Big Red Productions on the 12th but I can't find any others. Ideas? Love to anyone who knows of one!

By the pier, right? Will do if we get that way! I know we are going to Mission Beach and, because they love huge events (I'm a small group gal but am trying to be a good tour guide), we will probably head to the Beachfest thing for awhile. From there, I'm not sure but will look you up if we get down there. It would be nice to meet a real surfer because we are definitely the lowest of the low on the surfer chain! Ha!
