Not long enough day-- could this day get any better?

Postby surfishlife » Sat Sep 30, 2006 8:00 pm

In response to the other thread- long day, what's the worst that could happen- I have dedicated this new one to stories about the GOOD things happening in our lives, in between the surf.

Sar has already posted a 2nd response...i wonder if it can be migrated to this thread? =)

As for me...enjoying a big meal at Cheesecake Factory with good friends, getting a $360 check in the mail, and being treated to see the opera. And soon enough, when I buy my first surfboard!

Nice one Surfishlife!! Copy and paste should do the job so here is the day I have been having:

[Ditched the coursework, the housework, the diet and the sorting out my finances and other such dreary, stressful boring stuff that people have to do. Instead I....

Had my hair done which looks very nice and had lots of compliments, went shopping and bought some nice stuff, went to the oesteopath and got rid of my neck/headache which has been bugging me for a couple of weeks.

Met up with a good friend who I havent seen in a while over beer and food at lunch, met up with more friends and had a good chuckle over more beer.

Currently feeling very relaxed and have a belly full of my favorite dish from my favorite take away, with a tub of hagen daz waiting to be opened when I sit down to watch a good film. ]

Just finished watching the film I rented which was OK but now Bill and Teds Excellent adventure has come on and I still have the Hagen Daz to look forward to (chinese filled me up for a while!) - ahh the simple pleasures, could it get any better?!?!?

CheeZee - I usually would growl at people who came anywhere near me and my icecream but go for it. Im feeling generous!! :D

Nine Star in West LA is offering free ding repair for your board, for repairs up to $30! And their store is just about 3-4 miles away from where I live, busable in 20 minutes.

SWEET

Got up and went surfing with a friend this morning where there was just 2 of us in the water, clear blue sky and a shining sun - lovely.

Had a bacon, cheese and spring onion sandwich, lots of tea and OJ and a nice long soak in the bath.
My boyfirend is in the middle of doing the housework and Im contemplating going for a nap.

-This may all sound very dull, but I surfed, ate tasty food and now Im relaxing.

Oh yeah, and there is the small matter of the letter I got from the bank confirming that they are indeed going to refund the £900 they took from me :D :D :D :D :D :D
