a real surfer would know this hypothetical girl is surfing for the guys and it would work against her. I would have no respect for this girl...and ..hate to say it id be an ass in the line up

I know its wrong and that crap doesnt solve anything but i was raised on earning everything in the water

I cannot believe this thread...play OUTSIDE children.
If a good looking woman surfs.....it's to pull guys so, therefore...drop in on her??? That's cool. If she's ugly ...then that's ok cause she must be out the back for the surf...not to pull guys? So we don't drop in on her??
Wow...Now I understand, all the rules in surfing come down to your looks...ohhh, now I understand.

If you do want a really good and slightly deeper read about surf ethics, ways to read a "pack" of surfers before you paddle out into the lineup at a foreign break, how to spot the type-A male in the bunch, crowd behaviour in humans- that sort of thing, check out surfline.com & go to the "surfology" section.

Nope, nothing about looks mentioned there kids LOL.

thats the stupidest xxxxx ever! just because im kinda cute means that im not out there to actually surf? so i guess i should just sit on the beach in a thong and make u happy? hell no. i do this for myself and no one else. as cheesy as this sounds, its whats in ur soul that counts lol i dont care if u look like quasimoto, if ur surfing and havin a good time along with me, we're good :)

I can't quite fathom why somebody calling herself "sunkissedhun" would even venture to ask stuff like that.
I like to see women in general padding out & surfing regardless of what she looks like. All women regardless of their looks add colour & beauty to any lineup that in decades past was never there. I enjoy surfing more now as a result...lets move on eh?

1.no, a girl is not hot because she surfs. looks and personality are what makes her hot.
2. id be glad if a cute girl talked to me, but id be shy like with eveyone else.
3. id be friendly to an ugly girl just the same as the hot one, but wouldnt think of it in the same way. id be wishing i had the balls to ask her out, but thats not what they should be out there for anyway. see below.

i must say, this thread and the other she wrote are very fun to read. but why are you asking these things? are you just curious or do you want to know how to talk to guys in the line up?
to me, talking to someone i the ocean is the same as on land. and i treat girls, guys, and ugly girls all the same, smile and politely talk back, because i dont see that it matters. i probably wont see them again. of course with the cute girl ill be thinking damnit i should try talking to her more but im too shy. cute ones are fun to look at (which is normal, sorry but liking thongs and bikini tops is not perverted, its a normal horny teenager) but i still wont bother them any more than ugly ones.
of course at school or at a club it would be different, the cute one would get more attention.

p.s. most pro surfer girls are buttugly, no offence, but it shouldnt matter.

Well i think that if girls are surfing for the kicks they get out of surfing then its all good no matter what they look like, but if they are surfing just to try and get a guy back to there place for the night then they have the wrong idea....But to answer the question "Do guys find girls who surf hotter?" then the answer for me is yes, only because i love the sport and if you can spend time doing something you love with someone you love things cant really get any better.....can they?

what a shallow question! but logically now - are you attracted to boys that surf?...yes?..is it the messy bleached hair, the neoprene factor, the soulful smile? yes, surfing is sexy. so it probably works both ways. but honestly, who ever thinks about chicks/boys when they're out surfing? you must spend way too much time checking ou the fellas in the line up and missing waves.
