as far as stomp pads go, I always just buy whatever looks cool.

as far as leashes go, I just always buy whatever looks like it will be comfortable on my ankle.

These are probably the two things that I have never given thought when I was buying them. Except the stomp pad a little bit, but as long as it covers the surface, and looks like it will work, and it matches the board, I don't really put that much thought into it.

Its kind of like board wax, sure there are certain brands that people prefer, for whatever reason, but when it comes down to it, if you don't have it, anything you can bum works great.

get a decent quality tail pad, one that matches your board, most important thing is putting it on right (most shops will so this for you if your not sure) otherwise it will start to peel off from the edges.

you want a leash about 2m for a 6-0, again buy a good quality one - you really dont want your leash to break on a big day at a rocky break.
