Rash

How do you prevent getting a rash on your inner thighs? Every time I go out surfing when I sit on my board waiting for a wave, my inner thighs get a bad rash and I have red dots all over where the rails rubbed my legs. Does anyone else get this?

Believe it or not wearing spandex bike pants under your boardies/wetsuit seems to work for everyone.

They make shorts for wearing under your wetsuit when you go Scuba Diving that might work.

I never had this problem, but I remember thinking about buying a pair of those shorts so I wouldn't have to strip down naked in the parking lot when I change into my wetsuit.

Yep I have had that experience.
In my case I narrowed down the problem to simply waxing too close to the edge of my rails in that particular area of the board where i sit while waiting in the line up.
Pulled the wax back a tad from the edge and problem gone!

i get that when i wear a certain pair of boardshorts but not with any of my others, get longer shorts, and get the more clothy type ones not those slippery shiny "fast dryign" ones.

Surf rash.

You could put vaseline on your thighs before you go out.

Or just put cortizone on the rash when you get out.

I go for the latter solution.
