Reef break with the wave breaking in classic A frame shape. Lefts and rights with 3 main peaks.
What i forgot to mention is i too screwed up my arm. Pulled muscle and i can't lift my arm up today so no surfing for a few days. But i don't care as yesterday was so good! :D

k bay was sweeeeeeeeeet as!

such a fun wave to surf, really powerfull and fast with clear peaks...had such a good session. I wish i could have got in earlier though but i had to look after my dog on the shore and just watch the waves come in. But for the couple hours i was in for it was classic, well worth the drive down.

lol thanks for the alarm call phil!

Been blessed with glassy conditions over two days at my favorite two breaks since being back in North Wales.

CITS was about 3ft not special but great to be back out there.
Ceiriad was classic 3ft wedges tubeing to the max. I love that place.

Next weeks going to be macking up here and setting off all the north llyenn spots. W00p w00p

Tube mania over here.

I surfed a lame beach break with some beggienrs and I was pulling into ridiculus tubes that I didnt even realize were there. And it was only a little overhead.

cheers for not rubbin it in too much mate!

i got a decent session in at saltburn yesterday. was about waist to chest high n clean enough to get some decent rides. i managed to half pull of a little snap turn too which i was quite chuffed with.

found a hollow peak north of the pier in the afternoon but i was too tired to get in early enough

Managed to get one photo of my last sessions. Taken at the end of the day when the swell had dropped somewhat.

I surfed at Croyde on Saturday and Sunday. Very busy but had a great time, I stayed in the learner pool where it was v busy Saturday.

I had quite a scary moment when I tried to go out into the proper waves and came off my board - the wave seemed to pick me off it and dump me down elsewhere so retreated further in to shore to practice.

It looked fantastic further out especially on Sunday and it wasnt quite as busy, looking forward to my next trip up.

Getting a good bit of swell down here at the moment, got out on Sunday night down Caswell. Lovely clean waves about 4-5ft so got a good bit of practise in.

Finally came out of the water when I couldn't see anymore, and I've had a cold ever since  Doesn't bother me though, it was worth it!

Last Saturday, The Pier at Frankfort, MI. S/SW 15-25 knots, buoy was reading 5-8 feet. Water temp was 68, air temp was 60ish, The pier is cool, because you don't have to paddle out, you can just jump off the pier, and paddle into the line up.

I slept in the back of my truck the night before, on the beach, waiting for the morning. When it finally came, I woke up to another surfer pulling up next to me, I suited up, went out, paddled out, and swallowed a little bit of water, and then got sea sick, and dizzy, Too Hung Over.

Drove into town, got a donut and some coffee, then another donut, went back out, Felt Awsome, Surfed for 6-7 hours straight, there were about 20 surfers in the line up, not a bad turn out for Michigan. In Michigan, the more people in the line up, the better. It makes it fun.

I caught one wave that did whatever I wanted it too, I felt like I controlled that wave. It was good ride, had a few stand outs that day. Great Day, except for the hang over morning thing.

So I dropped Ejay off at the bus stop thismorning as shes off to visit a friend and I went stright off on surf missions...

As I wasn't going to make the tide for where I initially was going to go after looking over the charts and bouys I thought I'd invest my time in chasing up some potential I'd been waiting to check out along a section of coast....

And I found this cracker.

Image

Only with a phone unfortunatly but this super suckky dredger was spitting like a street corner lout! dispite the dropping tide and what I thought was a smaller swell that wouldn't really make this area work this was pusing 3-4ft solid.
Can't wait to hit it!

Meanwhile I hit another place and was blesses with a session that rates in my personal top10 of all time. Fantastic beachie kegs all round super clean and a fantasic day. ALL TO MYSELF!!!

I love North Wales.

Nice find PW, it's handy to have places like this to surf empty - I can only wish.
I'll pop it in the gallery
