Jodie you're not far from me then, I'm in Swansea! I've had a go a few times over the years, but have only taken it properly the past couple of months.

hey north bank lass! um, haven't got a local as such (yet anyway). been down aberavon once, just to have a little practise! il prob be down there for a bit while i get used to paddling and that on the small waves! where do u surf then?if i stick to it and get to grips withit i think i mite start venturing down rhossilli way! nice down there!

If I go for a long day I usually go to Llangennith (pretty much the same bay as Rhosilli). Pretty much guaranteed some waves down there, thought it's pretty difficult to paddle out sometimes. In the nights I go to Caswell as it's much closer and just easier.

What board did you get, minimal?

um, no! iv got a 6ft(i think) shordboard... Only had it cos it was given to me cheap! I didnt want to spend alot see cos i usually have random ideas and then cant be bothered with it!!
