Is this a good price for a used surfboard?

Postby FabioPT » Fri Sep 15, 2006 10:39 pm

I have the chance to buy a surfboard for 140€ which is almost the same thing in dollars but i´m a bit ceptical about the board because it has already 6 years old.

The guy told me that the board has a minor scratch in the tail although i don´t think the performance of the board will decrease...i´m still looking to start surfing let alone perform well

Is this a good price considering all this aspects?

well obviously try and go lower to 100.

It does not matter that its 6 years old it depends weather the guy took care of the board or not i have a board from the mid 80's (it could even be earlier but based on the motif we figure early to mid 80's) and aprt from the yellow discolouration (due to age not water seepage) its in pretty good shape and rides a dream.
