which colour for my classroom?

Postby thaya » Wed Sep 13, 2006 9:45 am

I'm redecorating my wall displays in my classroom for open evening next week and i just can't decide what colour to go with. The only paper I have is pink, lilac, black (too depressing) or a yucky pale blue. What do you think? I'm more towards pink myself...

yeah i'm thinking about pink or lilac (purple like dbbs van except a shade lighter!) but I'm not sure how all the boys will react. They might hate it if my room is basically pink - is it too girly? does it matter? i mean, come to think of it, my room is quite girly already with a pink fluffy clock on the wall and a cuddly toy (flat eric from the levi ads- it's a strange reward system of mine!)

Hmmmmm i just don't know. I'm useless at making decisions.

I think you should mush them all up together in a bowl of water and make multi-coloured papier mache stalactites.

I put up a surf/hawaiian print fabric over my cork board, but still need stuff to put on the rest of my walls as they are this ugly yellowish color.
Whoever thinks teachers have it easier than the rest of the world is insane. I started on Monday, but the kids started last Tuesday, they brought in the old teacher to cover. I am sooo drained right now, I haven't visited here until today.
