surfing Puerto Rico - a few questions

hey all i was in Costa Rica last year surfing (amazing) and i'm thinking about going to Puerto Rico this year. a few questions

when i was in Costa Rica i was in a ranchero right at an awesome break. it was dirt cheap, around $15 USD a night. is Puerto Rico the same price type of range and what i should expect (very local, non-tourist, great surf spots??)?

anybody surfed in Puerto Rico here that wants to give me some insight? thank you!
