Land-locked in Manchester!

Postby Kate - New Oxygen » Sun Sep 10, 2006 5:40 pm

Hi - When Devon / Cornwall are to far to travel, my nearest decent surf beach is Hell's Mouth in Abersoch - about a 2 hour drive from Manchester. The only downside is that it can get really crowded at weekends! Is there anyone out there who knows of another good beach near-ish??! I hear the East Coast of the country can be OK?? Help needed! :?
