from 20th october, i cant leave boscombe for 2 months, that means no surf trips :cry:

, im stuck here for 2 months because of compotitions :cry:

and we only get messy surf in the winter mos of the time, and we hardely ever get big swells.

Gutted,
In the month of October im off to Ireland + cornwall and possibly 1 off the scottish isles as my sisters moving to scotland-so will fly for cheap ,rent a Mc Car then surf brown stain inducing waves for a few days

that blows but the surf wont run away winters coming so 2 months just takes you deeper into winter and hopefull better swells by then.

Dude I live 8 hours from the beach and a 160$ ferry ride away which means I can only afford to go 3 times per year. If I had even a little surf 2 hours away I would be the happiest person alive....... :cry:

I feel bad about complaining about having to drive 7 miles now. For 2 years I lived 1,500 foot from the beach, but my wife flipped out every time we wood have a hurricane scare, so we had a house built 7 miles inland.

Like that wood really make a big difference if we get a direct hit from a category 5.

Boscombe aint that bad - I've had some good sessions there!

I live in the middle of the UK and I haven't been able to go surfing yet this year! :cry:

We do, but there is really not many kinds of building materials that can stand up to a cat 5 hurricane (and its associated storm surge) that is readily available to the general public.

you can get the od good session at boscombe, like on new years day this year it was anly about 3-4ft but clean. but i can get down west country if i want to but it will mean i cant, and then the campsites shut for the rest of the winter.
