highschool sports

Postby Beachbum » Tue Aug 22, 2006 4:26 pm

Hey guys I'm currently in the 10th grade and my father told me I cant just surf for a sport lol  . I was thinking of what sport I should join for my highschool? They have swimming and I thought that would help me with surfing but I dont really want to wear a speedo. They also have track and cross crountry which I think are about the same thing.

Did any of you guys play a sport in highschool or anything?

No sports here. I was too busy getting laid, and staying stoned for any extra curricular activities.

I played Rugby, Football (soccer to you americans :D ), swimming, squash, cross country etc.....

But my problem was I knackered my right thigh, then my knee. So I rediscovered drinking and never looked back

Swam and played water polo. Nowadays, not all swim teams make their swimmers wear speedos (brief style) a lot of high school teams use jammers as team suits (these are more like bike shorts, lycra shorts that go down to about the knee). In my area all the beach schools have surf teams as well.
