Hey,

Any Rugby fans on this forum? I'm personally a fan of Rugby Union rules, and use Planet Rugby.com to follow matches (I live in the US and Rugby is only available on a few channels). I was rather surprised France won the Six Nations this year. On the Rugby World Cup front I'm a Springboks fan. What teams are you guys fans of?

wasnt that suprising, france where favourites from the start.
Im welsh so obviously im a rugby fan (its a legal requirement here). Blues fan (cardiff blues that is) but I support all the welsh regions when theyre not playing us. Internationally i support Wales (obviously) and whoevers playing against england

Why would you support the springboks in the world cup tho? surely if your american you should be supporting the USA?

My ex-girlfriend's an Eagles fan, so mainly to bugger her. I got into rugby because one of my co-workers from Peckham is also a fan.

Something about muscled thighs in little shorts and lots of mud that does it for me....

My boyfreind's really got me into union (I used to just watch the England games on telly, now I even know most of the rules!!) - we support Harlequins and of course England :D

Bring on the big boys to the Quins!

Dont follow it as much as when I played but has to be wales all the way.

A small claim to fame I use to play rugby with mike phillips for school + local team and he was in a few of my A-level classes.

OI OI OI

Use to play at school and uni until I fleshed both shoulders, so not much of a fan anymore. Looking back now I hated getting up early on saturday morning to get cold and wet and have some fat guy sit on your head for 80 mins then drive back and get hammered drinking cheap larger out of your muddy boot. Thinking about it, I hate rugby!
