go paddle around when its flat. you'll be much more in shape when you do get some waves. unfortunately im wedged inland so i dont get to paddle unless there are waves n im at the beach.

stupid? hell no?

I went out for about an hour on a TOTALLY flat day (I mean, it wasnt even rippling, the sea was like a mirror) just to practise sitting on my board.

I quite enjoy going for a paddle when its flat too!

Also - any kind of cardio activity that keeps you in shape and conditioned for 3+ hours of exercise.
