Quick Question about wax

Postby LovintheSurf » Thu Aug 17, 2006 8:05 am

So im outta wax, and im going surfing in 6 hours. Its like 1 a.m. here and im going at 7 am. Heres the problem i have wax on my board, but i dont know if its gonna hold up, luckly i found a half bar of BASE wax. So i was wonderin can i just put the base wax on top of my regular wax if need be. Sorry, its probably a dumb question, just wonderin

base wax is harder so it'll probably smear the wax underneath instead of going on.
you could use a wax comb on existing wax on board or take it all off and use base wax
i don't buy into all that base wax and top coat crap
not needed
just getting you to buy twice as many bars
use the right wax and you'll get bumps that won't dissapear
sex is good for this (wax)

So what did you do?

I don't buy into the base coat / top coat thing either. Just get the right temp. and be done. And get a few bars at a time; which will give you more time/chances to remember to pick up more.

** I don't recommend re-using dirty wax. That just sounds like a bad idea. **
