This is where i stayed when i stopped at inch strand! Right on the beach literaly!

And apparently when inches reef works it's supposed to be just like J_bay is SA. Unfortunately it was flat when i was there but you could see how it would work.

Image

Oh and just over the mountains from inches has to be the best kitesurfing beach i've ever been to, i could quite happily spend years at this spot the bay is 14 miles long!! And you thought saunton was a big beach!

Here it is looking north.

And looking south.

I spent a whole week here camped on the beach in my van. Surfing, kitesurfing and blasting up and down the 14 miles of beach on my kite buggy at speeds of 40 mph! Just an awesome place!

Bro,
if Inch is not working try the Dingle Penisula on the other side of Inch. Brandon Bay always picks up some swell and there are a few nice peaks around CastleGregory. Head up to Clare (Via the ferry at tarbert) and explore. Alot of good beaches and reefs along the way. wana Surf has got info on all of these.

Hey KS,

I've been kiting to Inch, what an awesome place! We stayed in Dingle and Kited at Inch, where I think I went the highest I've ever been, took off on a wave over powered and got ripped in the air. I fleshing sh`t my pants. Got a huge cheer when I got in so it must have been pretty high! Also buggied the length of Inch which eventually got boring! But doing it at night was the best thing in the world, couple of glow sticks in everyones kites and off we went!
Also went to Brandon Bay and somewhere called Dumps, but there wasn't any wind.
That was the best holiday I've been on.

Nice. Yeah when i was at inch there was no wind or surf but brandon was picking up everything. Sw wind was giving cross offshore winds at stradbally and at the same time cross onshore at mossies. :D

Brandon bay sunset.
