Downsizing

Postby Kynan » Wed Aug 09, 2006 12:09 pm

Im looking to downsize from my current board, a 9'10" mickey munoz longboard, and was just wondering what my best plan was. I would like to stay with the older style of surfing on fishes and funboards and things like that and dont really want a board over about 7 foot. Im nearly six foot and weigh 11 stone exactly, im 15 and dont get to surf that often unluckily. Not looking to spend over £250/300ish. Cheers, Kynan

If you want to stick with the oder style of surfing then it sounds like to me you need either a single fin, maybe an egg or single fin shortboard or possibly a retro fish. But the type of board is your choice really. There are lots of retro fishes out there and they are alot of fun to ride. They take abit of getting used to but that's half the fun. It's quite a big down size from 9ft2 seeing as alot of fishes are 6ft and shorter.
